Why brainwave meditate
First of all why should we meditate at all? Why do either classical meditation or brainwave meditation?
One very good reason for me was the ability to raise the threshold to stress (do you imagine the Dalai Lama angry or frustrated?). What used to anger, upset or frustrate me, no longer affected me. I detached from these events. It was like I was watching a movie, starring ... me.
So it seems that meditation works in reducing stress. It goes well beyond that if you ask me. Awareness is the second important result of meditation. Meditation is like putting on reading glasses, or for those of us who do not need any, it is like looking through a magnifying glass. You start seeing finer structures, more details that you were not aware before. And this is all about life: the quest for self evolution and self improvement. With a spiritual connotation this translates in the holy grail of enlightenment.
Let us stop here with the benefits of meditation. If you are not convinced yet, please further read “Benefits of meditation ”.So why does not everybody do meditation then? One good reason is that most people live their lives on autopilot. They get old and realize that something is missing. Time flies when you live on autopilot. Remember how long the days seemed when you were a child? This is because you were aware of every moment then. We were living “in the now” without fast forwarding our lives to the weekend, or when we finished paying our mortgage, or when we had more money, or even till we got in better health.
Another reason people do not meditate is that the results are not coming at the rate the modern times got us used to. It is not like “loose ten pounds in one week, guaranteed” sort of thing. The human mind is more subtle than this. So some people loose their patience before seeing any results.
Some other people do not meditate because they cannot make time for it. They would spend hours in front of the TV, or doing cardiovascular in a gym, but working out their mind these people do not perceive as necessary. And the same saying "you don't use it, you loose it" applies also to the brain.
Is there a way to overcome these obstacles and still get the advantages of the classical meditation?
Brainwave meditation is the answer I found. After years of regular (classical) meditation I came across brainwave meditation and I gave it a try. Two years later I can see results at both subtle and physical body. And do not get me wrong, I had results before using classical meditation. Only that the effort was beyond the kind of life one Westerner is used to.
First and most important result of brainwave meditation I got was my increased level of happiness. I became happier and this is the consequence of raising my threshold to stress. Because when you do not spend life being angry and frustrated you return to your natural state which is to be happy.
Secondly, the days seem to stretch, to become longer as the result of becoming more aware.
Becoming more aware made me also acknowledge the subtle messages from my body, so I better nourished (more quality food in less quantity) and exercise my body. Without effort or feeling a constrain in doing so.
Above all, the brainwave meditation did not impact at all my schedule. And this was important for me.
